Raised at home, on the farm.

Heidi's Canine Companions is a home puppy business on a small Illinois farm. The puppies are born in the house and stay close until they are ready for a family. The fastest way to know who is here is to call Heidi.

State-licensed breeder. Calls and texts are both welcome.

The two breeds

Boston Terriers and Pugs, both raised in the house on the farm.

Boston Terriers

A Boston Terrier is a sturdy little house dog, with a short coat and a real interest in whatever you are doing. Here they live indoors, close to the family.

Pugs

A Pug is a compact companion who likes a lap and a quiet house. These are farm-home dogs, not kennel dogs, and they stay until they are ready to go.

How a puppy goes home

  1. 1

    Call or text

Tell Heidi whether you are asking about a Boston Terrier or a Pug, and whether you are hoping for a puppy now or later.

  2. 2

    Hear what is true

She will tell you who is here, who is reserved, and what she is expecting. The website is the introduction, not the whole conversation.

  3. 3

Meet when the time is right

Puppies stay until they are ready. Heidi helps match a dog with a home that wants one close by.

The parent dogs

These are the grown dogs the puppies come from. Photos on the site start as drawings until Heidi adds her own.

Call Heidi.

If you are hoping for a Boston Terrier or a Pug, the phone is the way. She answers as soon as she can.
